Get the Meow Factor

Summer 2011 saw an animal infusion with leopard, tiger, and zebra prints prowling both the catwalk and high-street. However, all animal lovers will be happy to hear that the fierce patterns are sinking their teeth into Autumn/Winter fashion too. As the cold months roar closer the hot prints are staying put, but of course with an updated twist. Give your wardrobe some bite and make a statement with bold leopard faux fur coats and party dresses.

TREND TIP
“Hold onto animal print because it always makes a comeback and could save your pennies in the future.”

If you want to give the classic jungle feel a twist then go for coloured fabrics with leopard, dalmatian, giraffe, and any other animalistic pattern you can grab by the claws. For those more understated kittens don’t fear because animal print has been applied to almost all fashion pieces this season.  Use the purrfect patterns subtly but still be seen with leopard heels, belts, handbags and hair accessories. Even my dressing gown, pyjamas, and tea mug is leopard print, but maybe I’ve gone too far?

Leopard print is a timeless foundation to have in your wardrobe and often makes a comeback in the fashion world. So, stock up for winter animal style and show your appreciation for the jungle.
